SECURITY IN BLACK SEA DISCUSSED IN MOSCOW
As was reported by AzerTAj correspondent, department of information and press of the Russian Foreign ministry disseminated a statement whereby it is said that in Moscow was held political consultations at the level of deputy foreign ministers of the participant-states of Agreement on creation the Black Sea military-naval group for operative inter-actions “BlackSeaFor” (Bolgaria, Georgia, Russia, Romania, Turkey, Ukraine).
It is stated that the central topic of the meeting was consideration of opportunities of “BlackSeaFor” to solve tasks connected to new risks and challenges in the field of safety in the Black Sea to combat against terrorism and prevention of illegal circulation of mass destruction weapons, its delivery and its components.
On conclusions of the political consultations was adopted a special communiquй.
The Russian side highly assessed the conclusions of the consultations, demonstrating that “BlackSeaFor” is a prospective project, aimed at development of cooperation among the military-naval forces of the littoral states to strengthen security in the Black Sea.
