Specialists of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic, famous political scientists are touring provinces of Azerbaijan.

The Company’s senior energy specialist, chairman of the district division of the “Yeni Azerbaijan Party” (YAP), Karabakh war veteran Mohammadali Mammadzadeh said, “The purpose of our trips is to inform in details of President Heydar Aliyev’s new oil strategy and his work on. Recently, we have visited, Goychay, Guba-Khachmaz zone. I must say that the appearance of those provinces has changed drastically. Construction, accomplishment works are going along with the actions aimed at providing the population with jobs. Entrepreneurs inspired by the President’s care for businessmen are creating new production and processing enterprises. All our interlocutors consider these successes as a result of stability in Azerbaijan. At the same time, they are confident that Ilham Aliyev’s appointment as Prime Minister is a wise step

During our visits we refer to the history and tell about oil strategy and note its significance not only for Azerbaijan but also for the whole region. We remind President’s words at the signing ceremony of the “Contract of the Century” on September 20 1994, “Signing this contract, we once again announce the strengthening of Azerbaijan Republic’s sovereign rights and our nation is the owner of its wealth. Signing this contract we establish ties between the Republic of Azerbaijan and world’s developed countries, their big companies, lay foundation for Azerbaijani economy’s integration into the world economy, free market economy. Signing this contract we once more announce that independent Azerbaijan Republic is a democratic and legal state. ”

During the conversations we stress that signed contracts play a decisive role not only in the development of oil and gas resources but also in the revival of other industries. We point out to Ilham Aliyev’s great services in the successful implementation of the oil strategy.

We also speak about the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export pipeline, establishment of Oil Fund and its role in improvement of people’s welfare.”
