The funds amounted at 190 billion manats were transferred to all city and regional departments of the Social Security Fund to pay off completely pensions and allowances to the population.

In the whole, Social Security Fund has fulfilled 9-month forecast on revenues by 104,3 percent and on expenses - by 105 percent. Revenues of the Fund for this period come to 1 trillion 323,3 billion manats, i.e. by 213,5 billion manats more as compared to the same period of 2002 and by 55 billion manats more than the forecast data for January through September of 2003. Payment on obligatory state social insurance within the revenues makes up 805,2 billion manats, i.e. the forecast has been fulfilled by 107,1 percent.

It means that assignments of the state budget made up 525,3 billion manats and met the forecast. Some 238,3 billion manats from funds collected on state social insurance were received from the organizations financed by budget. A special attention towards timely supply of payment on state social insurance from private and non-budget organizations from the beginning of the year created conditions for monthly increase of the weight of these fields in revenues.

For 9 month of 2003, 566,9 billion manats were supplied by non-budget and pirvate sector organizations on state social insurance payments, which is by 60,6 billion more than the forecast amount andby 142,9 billion manats more as compared to the same period of 2002.

Increase of revenues of the State Social Security Fund gave a chance to complete in time and complete financing of pensions, allowances and other social payments for 9 months 2003. In the whole in January trough September, 1340,9 billion manats were transferred for these aims, i.e. by 225,8 billion manats or 20,2 percent more as compared to the related period of 2002.

The amount of pensions, main social payments in expenses, came to 777,6 billion maants, allowances for non-working retired people - 127 billion manats, allowances for children and poor families - 134 billion manats, expenses for exchange of living, transport and other benefits - 80,2 billion mnats,m others - 168,2 billion manats.

Besides, 7,2 billion manats and 14,4 billion manats accordingly were transferred to the main department of employment and social protection of disabled of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security for financing of actions on employment and social protection of disabled, 15,9 billion manats -0 to Trade Union Confederation of Azerbaijan, 10,4 billion manats - to payment enterprises in the form of payment for service4s on delivery of pensions and allowances to the population and 6 billion manats - for maintenance of the central apparatus of the Fund.
