SUBSEA PIPE-LAY AND INSTALLATIONS PROGRESSING ON SCHEDULE

According to BP-Azerbaijan, on subsea pipe-lay and installations, the company have laid 18 subsea pipelines to date totalling over 900km in length since the start of ACG phase 1 subsea pipelines construction using the Israfil Huseynov barge, and by the end of the pipe-lay programme the company will have installed 21 pipelines totalling about 1000km in length.

The subsea construction activities have also used the SOCAR-owned dynamically positioned diving vessel Tofik Ismayilov, which was extensively upgraded for these operations. The vessel was used for diving work to complete the subsea pipeline tie-ins for C&WP, West Azeri, East Azeri and Shah Deniz.
