SUCCESSFUL CO-OPERATION BETWEEN AZERBAIJAN AND KAZAKHSTAN IN OIL SPHERE TO BE CONTINUED
PRIME-MINISTER OF AZERBAIJAN ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVED DELEGATION OF ‘KAZMUNAYGAZ’
President of the ‘Kazmunaygaz’ Timur Kulibayev thanked Ilham Aliyev for giving the time and warm reception, and expressed his wish to inform the Prime-Minister about the course of the work on oil and gas transportation being implemented on the instructions of the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. “Mr. Kabildin is now negotiate in the framework of the working group, and we have taken a serious steps forward to fulfill the tasks set,“ he said.
Having thanked Timur Kulibayev for the report, Prime-Minister Ilham Aliyev said: “We met with Mr. Kabildin in the framework of these talks in London. The talks began last December, and at that time, we held the first joint meeting. Later, we agreed to hold them in a regular manner in both Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.”
The Prime-Minister noted he had been until recently and would be further involved in the process actively, because the “project is very important for our states not only in the scope of the oil companies, but also from the standpoint of ensuring interests of our countries down the road.”
Ilham Aliyev expressed satisfaction that the process runs under conditions of mutual understanding between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. “We have practical results as of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Pipeline construction, and I must mention that a foundation of our future development is being built today,” he said.
