TALISH MUSICAL FOLKLORE RECORDED
Special expedition group of “Musical World” magazine visited Astara region of Azerbaijan and regional settlements in connection with the preparation of “Musical atlas of Azerbaijan” and recorded samples of the ancient Talish musical folklore, ceremonies, related to the customs and traditions of these places.
AzerTAj correspondent was informed by the Astara regional department of culture that the main purpose of this activity is to collect samples of musical folklore of minorities, living in Azerbaijan, print this music and spread it through Internet all over the world.
Expedition group of the magazine will continue recording in other Southern regions of Azerbaijan as well.
