TAX EXAMINATIONS OF FOREIGN DIPLOMATIC REPRESENTATIVES OF AZERBAIJAN EXPECTED

Tax examinations of the diplomatic representatives of Azerbaijan functioning abroad are expected to begin early next year. According the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Tax Ministry must have begun the checkups early 2003, but the action was postponed due to attestation and some other processes taken place in the Ministry. In all, the Foreign Ministry is interested in holding such examinations.

According to the Tax Minister Fazil Ahmadov, the Embassies with largest number of staff members will be examined in the first place, and that particular attention will be paid to the salary taxes.
