TAX ISSUES DISCUSSED IN PARIS

The eighth International forum entitled “Tax agreements and Transfer Prices” held in Paris on September 23-26 gathered representatives from 160 countries and about 10 international organizations, including members of Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development. Azerbaijan was represented by Chief of Intern ional Tax Relations Department of the Ministry of Taxes Bahtiyar Alishev. The event was focused on international tax relations, ways of tackling disputes, informational exchange etc. The participants adopted a pattern of Tax Convention of Organization as a basis. Azerbaijani representative participated in the sittings related to Articles 5 (permanent representatives) and 26 (information) of the Tax Convention, and in general sitting as well.
