TEAS to organize Khojaly commemorative events

The European Azerbaijan Society (TEAS) will organize a series of events to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of the Khojaly Genocide as part of the “Justice for Khojaly!” campaign initiated by vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva. According to the TEAS, the events will include demonstration of “Endless Corridor” documentary, presentation of “Khojaly Witness of a war crime – Armenia in the Dock” book, and commemorative concerts in London, Dublin, Berlin, Brussels, Paris, Strasbourg, Luxembourg, Bern, Rome, Vilnius, Istanbul and Ankara.
“Endless Corridor” was produced by Lithuanian Alexander Brocas. The premier of the film was held at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts in London last July.
The book “Khojaly Witness of a war crime – Armenia in the Dock” was published in English language by Ithaca Press in London. The book was also translated into Russian and Turkish languages, and is going to be published in Spanish and French. “Khojaly Witness of a War Crime – Armenia in the Dock” is the first book published in the West that fully documents from original sources the massacre of 25-26 February 1992. The book also features articles published in Western and Russian media on the Khojaly events, reports of the international human rights organizations about the genocide and rare photos taken by foreign photographers.
