TRAFFIC POLICE OF GEORGIA REPLACED BY PATROL FORCE

As a result of reforms carrying out by the State Traffic Police of Georgia, 8 administrations, including traffic police were liquidated in the Ministry of Interior Affairs; 2200 from 3800 employees were dismissed.

Traffic police was replaced by patrol force in Georgia, July 12, AzerTAj correspondent reports. Duty of traffic police in the streets and crossroads were eliminated. 960 policemen in the regions, and 650 patrol forces in Tbilisi will assume a duty.

Tbilisi municipal budget allocated 20 mln lari for these aims, wage of patrol force is to be 400 lari.
