TRANSPORT ISSUES DISCUSSED IN GENEVA

104th session of the Working Group on customs-transport issues of the Economic Commission of the United Nations on Europe was held in Geneva. The session was attended by head of the Chief Department of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, colonel of customs service Shahin Bagirov. Representatives of customs bodies, transport organizations of the European states and state structures, regulating their activity, attended the session, he said. The session focused on the activity of the Economic Commission on Europe and other UN bodies, customs Convention on temporary import of individual means of transport, international Convention on agreed terms for control over shipment to foreign countries, (1982), customs Convention on transportation using books of international transportation, issues of abuse of customs transit systems aiming smuggling.
