TURKIC NATIONS FESTIVAL HELD IN HOUSTON
Houston city hosted the Turkic Nations Festival on September 7-8, State Committee on Work with Azerbaijanis Living Abroad said.
According to Irada Akhundova, Houston-Baku Sister City Association’s President, during the festival, the feature film about Azerbaijan was performed to the participants.
Besides Azerbaijan, culture and art of Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Bosnia and Herzegovina were featured during the festival as well.
Over 7 thousands of residents could familiarize themselves with the Turkic nations’ culture, hospitality, kitchen, national dancing and music.
The festival is forecasted to be held annually.
