TWO SHIPS OF CASPIAN SEA OIL FLEET PUTS INTO OPERATION

Passenger ship “General Asadov” and derrick ship “Uluchay” that belong to the Caspian Sea Oil Fleet of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) were put into operation after repairs were completed.
The Caspian Sea Oil Fleet pays particular attention to repairs of its ships. So, over AZN 21.4 million were spent to ship repairs last year, SOCAR spokesman said.
Repairs at the derrick ship “Ramiz Hajiyev” is about completion. The ship is expected to put into operation late February or early March.
