TurkPA observation mission satisfied with election in Azerbaijan

The TurkPA observation mission held a conference in connection with the parliamentary elections held on November 1.
Addressing the conferees, TurkPA Secretary General Jandos Asanov expressed gratitude for created conditions.
The parliamentary election has been well-organized in Azerbaijan, Serikzhan Kanayev, the head of the TurkPA observation mission, the member of the Kazakh parliament, stated.
“The voters quietly come to the polling stations,” he said. “The voting process is democratic, free and transparent.”
"We held a series of meetings with the CEC officials, as well as the Chairman of the Azerbaijani Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov,” he said. “We have been convinced today that the election has been well organized."
According to the TurkPA observation mission, the elections in Azerbaijan meet international legal norms, the election process was fair and lawful.
