Turkic Council states set up tour operators’ consortium

A final meeting of the working group on tourism was held in Shymkent, Kazakhstan. Representatives of tourism companies from Turkic Council member states (Kazakhstan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan) took part in the forum, AZERTAC reports citing Kazinform.
The meeting discussed the creation of "Modern Silk Road" single tourism product and its promotion on the international tourism market. The meeting also featured presentation of a single tourism product program, and a roadmap of "Modern Silk Road" marketing strategy.
The participants signed a memorandum on the establishment of a consortium of tour operators, which aims to promote a single tourist product "Modern Silk Road".
