USAID: We are ready to cooperate with Azerbaijan’s KOBIA

“Agriculture is an area with great potential in Azerbaijan, and as the US Agency for International Development (USAID), we are ready to cooperate with the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA),” said USAID Mission Director in Azerbaijan Michael Nehrbass.

Touching upon the cooperation with KOBIA, Michael Nehrbass emphasized that financing of small and medium-sized businesses is critical to creating new jobs in the agricultural sector. “This is also important for their progress, expansion of their activities and access to new markets. Today's event is crucial for the representatives of small and medium enterprises in obtaining information about access to financial opportunities,” Nehrbass added.
