UZBEKISTAN TO JOIN “ SHAHDENIZ” PROJECT

Official visit of Uzbek President Islam Karimov to Georgia is planned on early October, AzerTAj correspondent for Georgia reports.
According to the International Oil Company of Georgia /IOCC/, in the course of the visit, it will be offered to Uzbekistan to join Shahdeniz gas project.
IOCC President Georgy Chanturia stated that Uzbekistan possesses natural fuel reserves and its transportation via Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline will be profitable for Uzbekistan.
