Ukraine`s Foreign Ministry warns citizens against illegal visits to Azerbaijan`s occupied territories

Kiev, March 29, AZERTAC

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has warned citizens against visiting the Armenia-occupied territories of Azerbaijan without the permission of official Baku.

A statement posted on the ministry`s website as the result of efforts of the Azerbaijani Embassy says unauthorized visits to the Nagorno-Karabakh and seven adjacent districts of Azerbaijan (Aghdam, Lachin, Kalbajar, Gubadli, Zangilan, Jabrayil and Fuzuli) are strictly prohibited. "These territories can be visited only with the permission of the Azerbaijani authorities. Otherwise, Ukrainians who violate the law will be blacklisted by Azerbaijan and will not be allowed to enter the country," the statement says.

The ministry also warned private individuals and legal entities against engaging in any commercial activities in the occupied Azerbaijani territories without Baku`s permission.
