Uzbek portal posts article on declaration of 2022 as Year of Shusha in Azerbaijan

The Uzbek portal “ziyouz.uz” has published an article on declaration of 2022 as the "Year of Shusha" in Azerbaijan.

The article highlights the history and culture of Shusha. The article says that the city was founded in 1752 by Panahali khan, the founder of the Karabakh khanate.

The portal provides information about the celebration of the 270th anniversary of the city of Shusha this year, and the construction works carried out here.

The article emphasizes that the city of Shusha was occupied by Armenians on the night of May 7-8, 1992, and was liberated on November 8, 2020 by soldiers and officers of the brave Azerbaijani Army.

The article provides information about the ancient monuments, shrines of Shusha, and its famous personalities. It was noted that before the occupation of Shusha, the city had 170 unique architectural monuments, 160 ancient buildings, and the enemy destroyed most of them.
