The amount of funds and deposits attracted by the Banks until January 1, 2004 has totaled 3052,9 billion manat. These figures are 35,3 percent higher than that of the same period last year.

551,3 billion manat or 18,1 percent of this amount falls to the share of savings in the national currency while 2501,6 billion manat or 81,9 percent – in foreign currency.

The natural persons have saved 1259,7 billion manat in the banks by January 1, 2004 and it is by 64,2 percent more than that of the same period last year.

For the mentioned period, juridical persons have put up 1793,2 billion manat on deposits, which is by 20,4 percent more that that period last year.
