V.TRUBNIKOV: PROBLEM OVER NAGORNO-GARABAKH CANNOT BE IGNORE
First Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Vyacheslav Trubnikov who arrived in Hague to meet with OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Netherlands Foreign Minister Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, described the Nagorno-Garabakh problem as a very critical, serious and big one. “Indifference towards the problem cannot be allowed,” he said. Mr. Trubnikov expressed his satisfaction with the intention of the Chairman-in-Office to visit Baku, Yerevan and Khankendi - where he has never been before - to be acquainted with the current situation in the region. He said: “We would seek to draw Mr. Scheffer’s attention to the Garabakh problem, and I guess, we have reached the goal.” The very decision to visit the region indicates the next OSCE Chair Bulgaria’s concern with the problem.
