WORKING VISIT OF PRIME MINISTER OF AZERBAIJAN ILHAM ALIYEV TO TURKEYWELCOMING CEREMONY IN ESENBOGA AIRPORT
In Ankara International Airport “Esenboga” decorated with state flags of both countries, Prime Minister Ilham Aliyev was welcomed by Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey Hilmi Guler, Ankara Governor Yahya Gur, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Turkey Mamad Aliyev, Turkish Ambassador in Baku Ahmet Unal Chevikez, Consul General of Azerbaijan in Istanbul Ibragim Yagubov and other officials.
In the airport’s VIP hall, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held short meeting with Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey Hilmi Guler and other high-ranking officials of the fraternal country.
With the ceremony completed, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited mausoleum of founder of the Turkish Republic Mustafa Kemal Ataturk to lay a wreath on his grave as a token of respect to the great leader. He left the following record in the mausoleum’s memorable book: “I am bowing down before eternal memory of the outstanding leader of all Turkish world, prominent political and public figure of the twentieth century, founder of the Turkish Republic, the great Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, and taking pride in the chance to express my love to the Turkish people.”
