WORKSHOP ON CIS LEGISLATIVE AUTHORITIES INFORMATIONAL PROVISION
Heads of informational and analytical services of parliament apparatuses from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, and Ukraine gathered for the meeting in Moscow.
The Tajik parliament was represented at the meeting by press secretary of the parliament lower chamber. During two days (6-7 April) representatives of CIS parliament apparatuses not only did exchange their work experiences, but also agreed on a further development of business relations. The parties discussed issues of providing efficient legislative work with an active usage of Internet for closer contacts between the Commonwealth parliaments. An agreement on improvement of exchange of information about parliamentary activities of the Commonwealth member states was reached and recommendations to parliament information services of the nine states were elaborated in order to arrange multilateral informational connections.
