WORLD AZERBAIJANIS SOLIDARITY DAY TO BECOME TURKIC DAY IN CANADA
Baku, 25 December (AZERTAC). The World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day will be marked every year on December 31 in Canada as the Solidarity Day of all Turkic peoples. This idea was initiated by Toronto-based Heydar Aliyev International Center of World Cultural Heritage and supported by the Federation of Turkic peoples in Canada led by Head of Turkish Diaspora Mehmet Bor.
This year the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day will be celebrated under the motto “The Day of Solidarity of the World Azerbaijanis is the day of solidarity of all Turkish-speaking peoples”.
A concert to celebrate the holiday will be held at the concert hall of the Turkish Diaspora. The concert will feature the Silk Road chamber orchestra (conductor Ismail Hajiyev, President of the International Center of World Cultural Heritage), which will perform “Ulu onder” ode dedicated to the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev.
