WORLD COUNTRIES AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY SUPPORT THE CONTINUATION OF POLITICAL COURSE OF PRESIDENT HEYDAR ALIYEV

Chairman of the Party of Social Prosperity of Azerbaijan Khanhuseyn Kazimli gave a press conference.

Opening the news conference, member of the Supreme Majlis (Assembly) of the party, director of “Ilham Aliyev’s election center - Azerbaijan 2003” Mushviq Hasanov noted the event is aimed at expressing the attitude to balance of forces to take part in the upcoming presidential elections, to groundless accusations against success in home and foreign policy of Azerbaijan, as well as the attitude to the notorious forces, wishing to hinder the elections.

Making speech at the press conference, Chairman of the party Kh. Kazimli stressed the necessity of unanimity and solidarity in the society for preserving social and political stability, established in Azerbaijan by President Heydar Aliyev, continuation of political course of the head of Azerbaijan, appraised the actions of destructive opposition, preferring the way of meetings and demonstrations.

Answering the questions of journalists, chairman of the party noted that Azerbaijani opposition does not act from the point of view of statehood or national interests but from the point of personal ambitions. That is why they do not have any constructive program. Naming the intentions of opposition to create a coalitional government as ridiculous, Kh. Kazimli reminded that while there are no divergences of opinion in the Azerbaijani government and authorities, opposition, alleging that is trying, in fact, to mislead the international community. However such attempts are failure.

Further the Chairman stressed that numerous congratulations from abroad on Ilham Aliyev’s appointment to the position of Prime Minister are another confirmation of good attitude of world countries and international community to the existing authorities in Azerbaijan, their support to the continuation of political course of President Heydar Aliyev.
