WorldFood Azerbaijan 2013 exhibition due in Baku
Baku, May 20 (AZERTAC). The 19th Azerbaijan International Food Industry Exhibition "WorldFood Azerbaijan 2013" will take place at the Baku Expo Centre in Azerbaijan`s capital from 22 to 24 May 2013. Established itself as the Caspian Region`s leading food industry event, it will be an ideal working venue for food industry professionals, producers, exporters and importers of food, drinks and FMCGs.
Over 100 companies will exhibit this year from 26 countries, including Turkey, Russia, India, Jordan, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Poland, Switzerland, Iran, Lithuania and etc, as well as newcomers Latvia, Belgium and Iran, who will all be exhibiting from national stands for the first time this year.
Main Sections of WorldFood 2013 will include meat, dairy products, laboratory analysis equipment, refrigerating equipment, tinned products, groceries, ingredients, tea, fruit and vegetables, packages and packing equipment, patisserie and drinks. 60% of all exhibitors are newcomers – including the dairy producer Milla, the Korenovka Dairy Cannery Factory, the Jordanian juice and energy drink producer Defaf, and the luxury tea producer SebaSTea from Sri Lanka.
The event is considered to be of high importance for intensive meetings and discussions with leading companies in the food industry, packaging and equipment sectors. It will also be an effective business platform for strengthening links, finding new partners, and making use of the latest technologies in Azerbaijan`s food industry, as well as a unique opportunity to establish business contacts, exchange experience and information, hold important negotiations and sign contracts with representatives of world-famous brands.
The packaging sector will be represented by Czech, Georgian, Turkish and Russian companies, and Belgium, Latvia, Moldova and Iran will all bring national groups to WorldFood Azerbaijan. Also, for the very first time at the exhibition, the US Meat Export Federation will hold meat preparation masterclasses for anyone wanting to enhance their skills.
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Agriculture is a longstanding supporter of WorldFood Azerbaijan, which is also supported by the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation and the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs` (Employers`) Organizations of Azerbaijan.
