Irada Huseynova, who has stage-by-stage analyzed historical development since ancient times, notes that despite the diverse living conditions, speed of development and distances that separate peoples from one another, the Caucasian peoples' unity is bound by numerous ties.

"Some of them have passed similar milestones in the development of farming, culture and state building rapidly, while others were late, they adapted to each other's inventions and labor habits, have shaped their traditions and outlook."

The textbook offered to readers will help to understand who we are, where our historical roots are originating, and the place of the Caucasian peoples in the history of Europe and Asia.

What did the Caucasus give to the world and acquired from it?

The Caucasian peoples, who made a worthy contribution to world culture and civilization, deserve the objective and real presentation of their history of formation and development.

In the book Irada Huseynova underlines that the mankind tries to learn history not only as a sign of respect for the ancient period that only proves the distant past of the peoples. "It seems, the purpose is much deeper: to revive the true and comprehensive picture of the peoples' development based on consistent facts."

The events and facts that took place in the Caucasus region were systematized and objectively explained in a complex and justified way.

The work written in an acadermic style does not include unnecessary ideology, dogmatism and imitation.

In this regard, the fundamental work by Professor Irada Huseynova clearly and purposefully stimulates the need to re-understand, study and present the centuries-old history of the Caucasian peoples through the prism of national views on facts and events, original culture, spirituality, tradition and moral values that have been formed over millennia.

A separate, well-organized section of the book features geopolitical information on the events taking place in the independent states of the Caucasus in modern times.

The establishment of peace in Azerbaijan, in the entire Caucasus region and in the world is our utmost desire."
