Abbas Abbasov: Baku Initiative Group and One St. Martin Association will sign MoU

Abbas Abbasov, Executive Director of the Baku Initiative Group, stated that the international conference held today is dedicated to St. Martin Island in the Caribbean, which was divided into two parts in 1648. He noted that scientists, MPs from St. Martin, and officials from various island states gathered to discuss St. Martin's struggle for One People and One Territory. "This conference, supported by the Baku Initiative Group, marks the first international platform for them," Abbasov told AZERTAC.
Noting that the Baku Initiative Group will sign the fourth memorandum of understanding to provide support for countries suffering from colonialism this year, Abbas Abbasov added: "This memorandum will be signed with One St. Martin Association from St. Martin. This memorandum will focus on cooperation in politics, economy, and influence in the island."
