APA Secretary General: These parliamentary elections demonstrated how much the electoral process has developed in Azerbaijan

“As representatives of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, we are very pleased to participate in the elections. I express my gratitude to the Central Election Commission (CEC) for creating all the necessary conditions to execute a very important mission as an international observer,” APA Secretary General Mohammad Reza Majidi said at a press conference on the outcomes of the snap parliamentary elections.
He noted that the purpose of observing the elections was to monitor whether the process was conducted impartially, freely, and in accordance with democratic principles. All conditions were created to ensure the proper conduct of the voting process.
"During the election process, we observed voter activity at polling stations. When visiting various polling stations, we witnessed voters arriving in an orderly manner to cast their votes. The CEC took the necessary measures to ensure transparency and protect the confidentiality of the ballots. These parliamentary elections demonstrated how much the electoral process has developed in Azerbaijan," the Secretary General pointed out.
Abdulkadir Emin Önen, member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye said that the election process was conducted in a transparent and democratic manner.
