Azerbaijan hockey team ranks third at youth hockey tournament for first time

Azerbaijani hockey players delivered an outstanding performance at the “Galaxy Cup 2025” tournament held in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
For the first time ever, a team representing the “Ojag Sports Club”, consisting of 10 players born between 2013 and 2015, won a bronze medal for the country. It marked a significant milestone in the development of this sport in Azerbaijan.
Goalkeeper Ilkin Gambarov was honoured with the title of the team's best player.
