United Nations Population Fund predicts that the world population will increase 1.5 times to 9,191,300,000 people from 2008 to 2050.

Russia will remain the country with the largest population in the CIS area. Russia`s population will decrease from 141.8 million to 107.8 million.

The population of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan will be rising rapidly in 2050. The population will rise by 1.5% yearly in those countries.
