Baku, July 6 (AzerTAC). The Azerbaijani delegation attended the Experts Group Meeting of the International Foundation for Humanitarian Cooperation of Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member states.

The meeting chaired by co-chairman of the Foundation Mikhail Shvydkoi, has brought together representatives from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Armenia.

Azerbaijan was represented by the chief of Intangible cultural heritage department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Yashar Huseynli.

The meeting focused on project results of the Foundation in 2010 and in the first half of 2011, additional projects presented in 2011, Foundation`s priority direction.

The Azerbaijani side`s proposal to pursue Foundation`s activity strategy on the basis of concepts approved in humanitarian sphere within the framework of CIS, at the same time, on the basis of “Concept of the cultural cooperation of CIS member states” presented by Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture and Tourism was approved unanimously during the meeting.

In conclusion, the final protocol of the meeting was signed by the participants.
