AZERBAIJANI MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND ENERGY MEETS WITH INDIA’S MINISTER OF STATE FOR COMMERCE
India is keen on Azerbaijan’s rich experience in the energy sector and joint cooperation, said Indian Minister of State for Commerce Jairam Ramesh during his meeting with Natig Aliyev, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Industry and Energy.
Indian Minister said his country is implementing oil refining programs in a number of countries of the Latin America, Africa and Asia, pumping $5 bln into these states. He invited Azerbaijan to cooperate with the Indian companies operating in these companies, saying that India is ready to reconstruct oil refineries in Azerbaijan in line with up-to-date standards.
J. Ramesh also proposed to transfer gas distribution stations in large cities of Azerbaijan to management of Indian companies. He expressed willingness to create all conditions for Azerbaijani students to study in the Indian higher educational institutions.

N. Aliyev said Azerbaijan is keen on cooperation with India in the fields of energy and industry, stressing a need for experts to consider concrete projects.
