Azerbaijan’s CEC Chairman: About 3000 candidates nominated for municipal elections so far

To date, approximately 3,000 persons have already nominated their candidacies for the municipal elections, and the registration of their candidacies continues, Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC), told journalists.
According to him, the preparations for the municipal elections scheduled for January 29, 2025, are being implemented in accordance with the Calendar Plan.
