Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister met with President of OPEC Fund for International Development

Mikayil Jabbarov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy met with Abdulhamid Alkhalifa, President of the OPEC Fund for International Development, within COP29.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the energy security and prospects for cooperation.
The discussions also saw exchange of views on joint activities related to fostering mutual relations, renewable energy and private sector financing.
They also discussed the importance of energy transition based on inclusive conditions in climate action, sustainable development, energy security, as well as economic diversification and prospects of bilateral cooperation.
