Azerbaijan’s exports of pearls, precious metals and jewellery rise more than 20-fold

In January-July 2026, Azerbaijan exported $3.713 billion worth of natural and cultured pearls, precious and semi-precious stones, precious metals, jewellery, and related products, according to the State Statistical Committee. The figure was 20.6 times higher than in the same period last year, representing an increase of $3.532 billion.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported $56.542 million worth of pearls, precious and semi-precious stones, precious metals, jewellery, and related products. This represents a 66.9-fold decrease compared with the same period last year, or a decline of $3.724 billion.
