“Baku conference brings together energy and journalism”, correspondent of “Open Europe”:
Baku, September 19 (AZERTAC). Correspondent of “Open Europe” radio in Belarus Igor Carney who is attending “Oil, gas and media” international conference in Baku has praised the event, describing it as “highly important to bring closer energy and journalism”.
Carney said “the conference is dedicated to an important and useful issue. Famous and prestigious experts in oil sector come together and discuss the situation of energy field in the conference. This conference has great importance in rapprochement of energy and journalism. In fact, energy field must be accessible for journalists and society”.
Saying that his first visit to Baku was 12 years ago, Carney stressed that Baku has changed incredibly and developed very much.
Appreciating the Azerbaijan-Belarus relations as highly developed Igor Carney added: “I hope to see more progress in my next visit. Developing Baku will pass many European capitals”.
