Baku to host 16th session of Coordinating Committee of Caspian littoral states
Baku, November 21 (AZERTAC). The 16th session of Coordinating Committee of the Caspian littoral states organized by National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan (MENR) will be held here on November 23-24.
The session on Hydrometeorology and Pollution Monitoring of the Caspian Sea (CASPCOM-16) will gather representatives of World Meteorological Organization (WMO), UN Environment Programme, navigation and aviation organizations, and NGOs.
The event is expected to focus on operative marine hydrometeorological service, hydrometeorological observation network, research on development of catalogue on changes in the level and water temperature of the Caspian Sea, cooperation and future activities.
