Baku Urban Award to hold status of only international award presented as part of WUF

“The 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) held in Baku has been fully inclusive in terms of both design and execution,” said Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, during his speech at the official closing press conference of the 13th Session of the UN World Urban Forum (WUF13).
The Committee Chairman added that one of the important legacies of WUF13 is the Baku Urban Award, established at the initiative of Azerbaijan.
“This award will hold the status of the only international award presented within the framework of the World Urban Forum,” he said.
