Caspian European Club holds business forum with participation of Azerbaijani Energy Minister

A business forum organized by the Caspian European Club with the participation of Azerbaijani Energy Minister Natig Aliyev has kicked off in Baku.
Chief Executive Officer of Caspian European Club Telman Aliyev informed that the Caspian European Club was established in June 2002 through active involvement of Caspian Energy International Media Group and under support of the largest oil and gas companies operating in the Caspian-Black Sea region. The Caspian European Club since its establishment attracts oil revenues from the oil industry to develop the non-oil sector. The Caspian European Club is the largest and dynamically developing regional organization that brings together over 5000 member companies and organizations from 50 countries, maintaining the dialogue between government institutions and the private sector.
Giving information about the oil and gas and energy complex, the Energy Minister stressed the importance of "South" Gas Corridor project, as well as TAP and TANAP projects to deliver the Azerbaijani gas to Europe.
Mr. Aliyev underlined that during the last year Azerbaijan produced 24 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity.
During the forum, the Azerbaijani Energy Minister was presented a certificate of honorary member of the Caspian European Club.
The event brought together heads of organizations and companies with a partnership agreement with the club, a number of diplomatic missions accredited in Azerbaijan.
