Ceremonies dedicated to 91st anniversary of national leader of Azerbaijan were held in Poland
Baku, May 21 (AZERTAC). Ceremonies dedicated to the 91st anniversary of Heydar Aliyev, national leader of Azerbaijan have been held at the Cultural Center of the Prushkov region and Adam Mickiewicz Lyceum of Poland.
Mrs. Anna Smolinskaya Eljbieta, Head of the Prushkov region, making an opening speech at the events spoke about the relations between Azerbaijan and Poland, adding that Azerbaijan is a fast growing country with picturesque nature.
Ambassador Hasan Hasanov spoke about the role of Heydar Aliyev, National Leader of Azerbaijan, in the history of Azerbaijan and his dedication to ensure country’s development and stability. Touching upon the visit of John Paul II to Azerbaijan at the invitation of Heydar Aliyev, Ambassador noted that this has also been attributed to the tolerant environment existing in Azerbaijan.
The events were attended by Azerbaijani Diaspora members and local community representatives.
