Chairman of Russian State Duma of Federal Assembly: Growth in Russian-Azerbaijani trade turnover by 30 percent is a good indicator
Baku, June 25, AZERTAC
Growth in Russian-Azerbaijani trade turnover by 30 percent is a good indicator, said Vyacheslav Volodin, chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation as he met President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in Baku.
Expressing satisfaction with the expansion of economic cooperation between the two countries, Vyacheslav Volodin hailed that 30 percent increase in trade turnover is a very good indicator of this.
He also stressed the expansion of cooperation in the field of tourism, saying that last year more than 850,000 tourists arrived from Russia to Azerbaijan, and this figure has grown by 18 percent.
“This figure has already exceeded the indicators of many countries traditional for Russian tourists”, Vyacheslav Volodin added.
