Director-General of UNESCO, UN High-Representative for Alliance of Civilizations to attend 3rd World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue

Director-General of UNESCO Irina Bokova, UN High-Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser will attend the 3rd World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue titled “Sharing Culture for a Shared Security" to be held in Baku on May 18-19.
The Forum is organized in collaboration with UNESCO, the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, the World Tourism Organization, the Council of Europe (including the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe) and the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
The 3rd World Forum with main title "Culture and sustainable development in the post 2015 development agenda" will focus primarily on projects and programmes dedicated to the 21st of May World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development declared by the UN General Assembly, as well as the role of faith, religions, migration, sport, education, art, business in building trust and cooperation among cultures and civilizations.
