Elnur Aslanov: Each young Azerbaijani specialist and student should think of what he or she must do for liberation of Nagorno-Karabakh and surrounding regions, and should contribute to this as much as possible
Baku, April 9 (AZERTAC). Each young Azerbaijani specialist and student should think of what he or she must do for liberation of Nagorno-Karabakh and surrounding regions, and should contribute to this as much as possible, said chief of the political analysis and information provision department at the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration, Elnur Aslanov.
He shared his views on the results of "I am a young ambassador" international conference of the Azerbaijani Students and Alumni International Forum (ASAIF), which was held in the Hungarian capital of Budapest, with an AZERTAC correspondent.
“The international conference titled "I am a young ambassador" of the Azerbaijani Students and Alumni International Forum (ASAIF) has wrapped up successfully in Budapest. Almost 300 young Azerbaijani students from 27 European countries joined the event.”
“While the Strasbourg Forum mainly discussed the state program on education of Azerbaijani students abroad, the Budapest Forum held a wide exchange of views on quite different and new ideas, and marked the adoption of new decisions.”
Aslanov said: “Besides the education of Azerbaijani students and young specialists, the lobbying activity is a reality of our time. Involvement of students in forming new lobbying mechanisms, action strategies and choice of a personal strategy in accordance with conditions of the country they live and study in were interesting issues for discussion during the Forum. The fact that each country is different indicates the variety of lobbying activity and this fact necessitates this activity to accommodate to the terms and conditions of that country,”
“Discussions held during the Forum clarified many issues and will give a special contribution to successful realization of the new communication strategy. An interesting exchange of views was held between public officials and youth, and government representatives shared their experiences. Different directions of Azerbaijan's general development strategy which supplement each other - Azerbaijan's future development features and priority spheres, "turning oil capital into human capital", formation of a new generation of young specialists - necessitate the continuation of such events."
He noted the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and Armenia`s aggression against Azerbaijan was among the issues topping the agenda in Bucharest.
"By occupying the Azerbaijani lands, neighboring Armenia formed an illegal situation and broke the international peace and security. The ineffectiveness of the challenges of the world community urges Azerbaijanis to act more painstakingly and raise their voice of justice at the entire international tribunal. The Forum participants understand very well that they carry a big responsibility on their shoulders. They will provide full and objective information to the international community, show the real essence of the aggressive policy of Armenia and achieve an adequate reaction of the world."
