“Yeni Musavat” newspaper released the information that Chairman of a body naming itself “Independent Research Center” Ilgar Altay visited the Military Medical Academy “Gulhane” in Ankara, particularly the department where President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev was examined and treated, on his acquaintance with medical equipment and talks with doctors, treating and examining the President of Azerbaijan, on his meeting with the management of the military clinic.

In this concern, Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Ankara officially applied to the Military Medical Academy “Gulhane” and specified reliability of this information, Turkey-based correspondent of AzerTAj reports. . Secretary General of the Academy Colonel Akram Kaynak stated that the clinic is a military object and every visitor has to be registered, and Ilgar Altay had not visited Military Medical Academy “Gulhane” and had not met with above-mentioned persons. He stressed that Academy is not the place for tourist attraction as well as that it is impossible for anyone to penetrate freely here and get acquainted with medical equipment and in addition to get information related to the state of health of patients.

Basing on all these facts, Embassy of the Azerbaijan Republic in Ankara states that Ilgar Altay’s information of is lies.
