Former Secretary-General of the Commonwealth: The level of plastic waste pollution is increasing exponentially

“Plastic pollution is a very serious global problem. The level of pollution is increasing rapidly and exponentially. Plastic waste stands as one of the most dangerous forms of pollution that exists today,” Patricia Scotland, former Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, told AZERTAC.
“We came together at the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Azerbaijan to discuss solutions that will be useful in addressing this critical issue,” Patricia Scotland added.
