Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2024 Race kicks off in Baku

Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2024 Race started in Baku.
Ten teams with two drivers from each are competing in the race, which takes place over 51 laps of the 6.003-kilometre Baku City Circuit.
On September 13, Max Verstappen left it late to set the pace during opening practice for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, while Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc set the pace during Friday’s second practice session for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
George Russell put Mercedes at the top of the times during third and final practice for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, finishing ahead of Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc and McLaren’s Lando Norris in a session interrupted by further red flags – including a crash for Ollie Bearman.
Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc also made it four successive pole positions at the Baku City Circuit by beating Oscar Piastri to the top spot during Saturday’s qualifying session.
