French Colonel: We owe our presence here to the Azerbaijani soldiers who defended our country

“Speaking to the Ambassador of Azerbaijan in France and the military attaché, I emphasized that we owe our presence here today to the Azerbaijani soldiers who defended our country and joined the struggle for its future at the cost of their lives,” said French Colonel Arnaud Cambournac in an interview with AZERTAC during a commemorative event honoring Azerbaijani soldiers who fought for the liberation of Rodez.
“Today, I learned that numerous Azerbaijani soldiers fought for Rodez. Until now, I had not been aware of the scale of their involvement, but a historian revealed that hundreds of Azerbaijani soldiers fought for freedom here,” he added.
