A field of vibrant red poppies blooming amidst vast grain fields near the village of Kalakhana in Shamakhi attract luring thousands of tourists. The breathtaking scenery resembles a brush painting of Mother Nature.
Nestled just a few kilometers from the Shamakhi city, the village can be reached through the highway.
The route leads you from Baku to Shamakhi for at least one-half an hour. While in Shamakhi, it will take you up to 10-15 minutes to arrive in the village.
