Indian Energy and Resources Institute representative hails high-level organization of COP29

“I expect a lot from COP29, especially more adherence to the accepted rules. I would like a significant increase in finance. Very strict decisions need to be adopted at COP29,” said Manjeev Singh Puri, Representative of Energy and Resources Institute of India.
According to him, the arrangements in the stadium are excellently organized.
“I have attended a number of COPs for many years. However, Baku-hosted COP29 stands out with its high-level organization compared with the others. COP29 will yield productive results for climate and human rights,” he noted.
“We had very productive discussions considering the importance of international cooperation and financial support in the process of adapting to climate change. I believe that our countries are doing their best in this struggle. We certainly need international cooperation,” Manjeev Singh Puri underscored.
